Life can be an adventure. And traveling
can be such a wonderful part of our Adventure,
because it's the chance to see different things,
experience different cultures, and change our
perspective just a little.
I got into this business because I love to travel. Over
the past few years I have been to London, Paris,
Belgium, Israel, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Montreal,
Vancouver, New Orleans, New York, Jamaica, Miami,
Orlando, Denver, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Cabo,
Acapulco, St. Croix, Peru, Australia, Key West,
South Africa, Chicago, Manzanillo, Mazatian,
Spain, Italy, Ft. Lauderdale, Brazil, Switzerland,
Germany, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, Holland,
Greece, Spain, and Monaco and several cruises
to the Caribbean and Mexico, and Alaska. There
are other places that I can't even think of! For
all of these travels, my world view has expanded
and I realize how lucky I am to have been born
here in Southern California. Much of the
world is not as fortunate as we are, with our
weather, our freedoms, and our possibilities.
Personally,
I make my residence in Santa Ana, CA
(South Coast Metro, if you want to be snooty). I
enjoy traveling (of course), working out, bowling
in my gay league, playing pinnochle, hanging
out with my friends, and I love movies. I
also love going to church on Sundays
(my all-inclusive church website is www.opendoorcenter.com)
and have been going for over 20 years now. I'm
not religious, though, I just love God.
I
have been involved with some community events,
especially the AIDS Walk of Long Beach, which
has done a fundraising group with me the past
couple years, helping to raise close to
$10,000 for the charity.
More than anything,
I love helping people to see more of their world.
Being a gay travel specialist
is very rewarding, helping people find places
that will be suited to their individual needs
and making sure they're going places they will
find safe and comfortable. It's a constant
learning process which will never end until we
die, and I've always got more to learn. It's
not a small world, after all.
